Can you describe the taste of chocolate?

What type of chocolate you might ask?
Any chocolate…
Can you describe it to anyone else or even yourself…?!

Actually can you describe anything to anyone else or yourself about how it really is…?

Like the heart break you felt when a loved one died?
The helplessness when you were ill?
The ache of your tooth?
The joy as you walk barefoot on the beach on a sunny day?
The excitement you felt as a child on Christmas Eve?

It is true, we can’t really describe anything to anyone else or ourselves about how it really is but we try ever so hard and that distracts us from tasting the moment fully; always keeping us at arms-length from reality.

All we can really do is feel and live whatever is happening now.

So perhaps for a second, a minute, an hour, a day or forever you can get lost in the living moment and give up the describing even to yourself and taste, taste the chocolate fully, deeply and completely.

Let the edges crumble as you melt and lose yourself in the rich beauty of the experience.
And maybe you will disappear altogether and become the chocolate!
This is the invitation, it is always the invitation.

As Forest Gump said “Life is like a box of chocolates. You never know what you gonna get.”

Sometimes the chocolate is dark, sometimes it is light, sometimes it is bitter, sometimes it is sweet and there are a million and one varieties with orange, butterscotch, milk, almond, coconut and some with coloured glittery bits on top!

Some you may like and some you may not, but taste them all; you are here to live all of life.

The deeper you taste the more you’ll want to taste and you may just discover that at the very center they are all the same; even the ones you save until last or try to give away to your friends!

They are all chocolate!

It’s all chocolate!
